On November 1, 2013, the Laboratory for “Renewable Energy Sources”, a joint venture of the Department of Electrical Power Supply and Electrical Equipment, was opened at the Faculty of Communications and Furnishings in Transport at the Todor Kableshkov Higher School of Transport in Sofia.
The new laboratory is equipped with modern equipment and equipment, donated by “3K” AD. On the roof of the first training camp of the University of Veliko Tarnovo the company assembled 32 pieces solar panel KANEKA with a total power output of 3.36 kW. The laboratory has an inverter manufactured by IBC SOLAR AG with the appropriate communication and safety equipment. Plant parameters (produced and consumed electricity per day, month, year, time, and time) can be entered in real time on the inverter display or remotely over the internet.
