Our experience

3K AD​ is a company working in the field of energy and environment technologies more than 15 years. Providing turn-key services for PV installations, as well as complex engineering solutions for specific objects. The company employs highly qualified and motivated specialists in different fields – engineers, economists, and doctor of technical sciences. In this way, we strive to meet the requirements of our partners and customers.

The main divisions of the company are about the usage of solar energy for off-grid SMART solutions and for grid-connected solar parks.

3K AD has years of experience in irrigation with solar pumping systems as well as in the establishment of decentralized wastewater treatment systems.

We offer services related to the design, delivery and overall construction of PV systems as well as complex engineering solutions for specific places.

Our activities
  • Solar energy

    Photovoltaic systems for direct connection to the grid as well as the construction of local decentralized systems – the so-called “smart” networks – in partnership with Victron Energy B.V. and IBC SOLAR AG.

  • Pump systems

    Solar pump systems for domestic water supply, industry and agriculture, using the energy of the sun and accumulate it in the form of water. Manufactured by the German company LORENTZ Gmbh.

  • Wastewater treatment

    Highly efficient decentralized wastewater treatment plants produced by the American company Bio-Microbics Inc., a long-time leader in the field.

  • Training and courses

    Center for Vocational Training licensed by the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training which is oriented towards the training of personnel in the field of electrical engineering and renewable energy sources.

  • Licenses and certificates

    Certification of ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 14001: 2004 standards. Membership in the Chamber of Builders and co-founding of the Black Sea Energy Cluster. 3K has two design certificates issued by the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria – for autonomous lighting and for a monitoring system for directing photovoltaic modules.



Prior to 2005, 3K has executed collaborative projects with leading companies for management and control of energy distribution objects. 3K also realizes the first pilot project in Bulgaria for powerline communications in a real world environment – a hotel in Varna.
Since 2005 3K AD initiates its official partnership with IBC Solar AG for Bulgaria.

2007 - 2010

In 2007, 3K AD​ is chosen as an exclusive distributor in Bulgaria for Bio-Microbics Inc. – the american manufacturer of innovative solutions for wastewater treatment.
In 2009, 3K received a Business Incorporation Award of the Year from the Varna Business Academy – for new products that have marked a market peak as a quality and useful for consumers. And also the company is successfully certified according to the standard ISO 9001:2008.
In 2010, 3K became an official distributor of the products of the German company Brent Lorentz – producers of solar pump systems.

2011 - 2012

In 2011, during the International Fair Plovdiv, 3K AD receives the Golden Medal for its patented one-axis tracking construction for photovoltaic modules – AstroTrak., with which in 2012 installs the largest tracking solar park in Bulgaria. Later this year 3K receives the Golden Medal for Lorentz solar pumps.

2012 - 2013

In 2012, the Center for Vocational Training was established, whose main activity was the conduct of qualification courses for technicians and installers of power equipment and installations. Also the company is successfully certified according to the standard ISO 14001:2004.
3K AD become a member of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber and the National association of independent energy producers “Ecoenergy”. Up to 2013 3K has built more than 50 different photovoltaic installations in Bulgaria. Including the first roof systems in Pazardzhik, Kyrdzhali, Varna and many other small cities in the country.
And the installed wastewater treatment systems are more than 20 in the entire country, treating efficiently the water from hotels, municipalities and family houses.

2013 - 2014

In 2014 we built the first off-grid SMART office where our showroom “Center for Energy Solutions” is currently located. In the same year 3K AD launched a successful cooperation with Greenpeace Bulgaria which continues to this day. Some of our emblematic joint projects are: “Exhibition of RES, Sea Station – Varna”; Sea sunflowers project – beach umbrellas equipped with solar chargers, as well as the construction of a fully autonomous system (off-grid) for hot water through solar panels at the “Taja” rest house in Stara Planina.

2015 - 2017

In the spring of 2015 we introduced the second-generation ThermoSol controller, K2 series, for water heating through solar panels and in 2016 after the production of its first two series we installed dozens of systems across the country. In 2017 we started developing a third version of the controller that we will introduce in the spring of 2019.

2017 - today

Along with Thermosol K3 we have also started developing a charger for electric vehicles which is controlled via mobile application. The presentation of the charger was made in the autumn of 2018 and its first series will be available for sale in 2019.
